Ducted Gas Heating

We offer full service, repairs and warranty work for Vulcan, Celair and Bonaire gas ducted systems and are registered warranty agents for Climate Technologies.

A standard service of your gas ducted heater will include the following things:

  • Checking and recalibrating gas pressures and operating settings to provide efficient and optimum economy
  • Cleaning and resetting relevant sensors to provide safe and economical operation
  • Checking of air flow and return air filters
  • Inspection of existing ducts and their operation

Why does my ducted gas heater require servicing?

It is recommended to have your gas heater serviced by a gas appliance specialist every 2 years. An unserviced gas heater is inefficient and expensive to run, and if left unchecked can cause a house fire or pollute your home with dangerous fumes.

Book an appointment with us ASAP if you notice something wrong with your gas heater such as: difficulty lighting it, yellow flames, unusual smells or noisy or inoperable fans.

How does ducted heating work?

The heating unit draws air from inside your house into a return air grille. The air then flows into the heater where it’s warmed and delivered to every room of your home via outlets.

A furnace fueled by either natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is usually located in the roof space or externally. The furnace is connected to ducting which is designed to distribute warm gentle air to every room of the house.
